Terms & Conditions

Classes, Courses, Workshops, Parties & Events

Last updated: 10 September 2026.

1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to bookings and purchases made with Monika Masárová / Salsacreed, trading as Salsacreed (“Salsacreed”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

They apply to Salsacreed dance classes, courses, workshops, parties, events, intensives, memberships and other services offered by us.

By placing a booking or purchase with Salsacreed, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply whether you make your booking online, in person or through another booking method offered by Salsacreed.

Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

2. Our details

Trading name: Salsacreed
Legal name: Monika Masárová
Address: Urbanización El Paraíso, 26
Email: info@salsacreed.com

Salsacreed operates and provides services in both Spain and Gibraltar.

The applicable consumer and other laws may depend on where the relevant service is provided and the circumstances of the booking.

3. Our services

Salsacreed offers dance-related services including:

  • regular dance classes;

  • multi-week dance courses;

  • workshops;

  • intensives;

  • dance parties and social events;

  • private or group dance sessions;

  • memberships or subscriptions; and

  • other dance-related services.

The description of each particular service, including its price, dates, duration, location and any specific conditions, will be provided at the time of booking.

4. Booking and formation of the contract

A booking becomes binding when:

  1. you submit the required booking information; and

  2. your payment has been successfully completed or another payment arrangement has been expressly agreed with Salsacreed.

For online purchases, the information displayed before you place your order will form part of the contractual information applicable to your purchase.

Where an online booking creates an obligation to pay, the final order button will clearly indicate that placing the order creates an obligation to pay.

For example:

“ENROLL AND PAY”

or another wording that clearly communicates the payment obligation.

You will receive confirmation of your booking by email or through the booking system used by Salsacreed.

5. Prices and payment

The price applicable to your booking will be the price displayed at the time you purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, payment must be made in advance.

We may accept payment by card, bank transfer, cash or other payment methods made available by Salsacreed.

Online card payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider such as Stripe.

Prices and any applicable taxes or charges will be displayed as required by applicable law.

6. Courses and fixed-period bookings

Where you purchase a course consisting of a defined number of classes taking place over a specified period, your booking relates to the course as a whole, rather than to individual classes.

For example, an eight-week course is a booking for that eight-week course and not eight separate purchases.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

  • individual missed classes are not refundable;

  • attending a different class or level is subject to availability and Salsacreed's approval;

  • course places cannot be guaranteed after the course has started if a participant withdraws;

  • course fees cannot normally be reduced because a participant is unable to attend individual sessions.

7. Workshops, parties and other fixed-date events

Bookings for workshops, parties, intensives and other events taking place on a specified date are bookings for the particular event stated at the time of purchase.

The same applies to services provided during a specified period.

The availability, date, time and place of the event will be stated when you book.

8. Statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights

Consumer protection legislation may provide a statutory right to cancel certain contracts made online or at a distance.

However, applicable legislation in both Spain and Gibraltar contains an exception for certain leisure services where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.

Salsacreed's classes, courses, workshops, parties and similar services may fall within this exception where they are booked for a specified date or period.

Where the statutory withdrawal/cancellation right does not apply because a legal exception applies, the customer remains subject to Salsacreed's cancellation and refund terms below.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any statutory consumer right where that right cannot legally be excluded.

9. Cancellation by the customer – courses

We understand that circumstances can change.

Our own cancellation policy for a course is:

Before the course begins

If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before the scheduled start of the course, you may request a refund.

A full refund will be provided.

Within 7 days before the course begins

If you cancel within 7 days before the course begins:

50% refund / transfer to another course where available.

After the course has started

Once the course has started, course fees are generally non-refundable, including where a participant chooses to stop attending or is unable to attend individual classes.

Salsacreed may, at its discretion, offer a transfer, credit or alternative arrangement in exceptional circumstances.

10. Cancellation by the customer – workshops, classes and events

For a workshop, party, intensive or other single-date event:

More than 7 days before the event

  • full refund

Within 7 days before the event

  • 50% refund.

After the event has taken place

No refund is available for a booking that has already been fulfilled.

Where permitted, you may request to transfer your place to another person. Any transfer must be approved by Salsacreed in advance.

10. Cancellation by the customer – workshops, classes and events

For a workshop, party, intensive or other single-date event:

More than 7 days before the event

  • full refund

Within 7 days before the event

  • 50% refund.

After the event has taken place

No refund is available for a booking that has already been fulfilled.

Where permitted, you may request to transfer your place to another person. Any transfer must be approved by Salsacreed in advance.

11. Exceptional circumstances

We may consider refund, credit or transfer requests in exceptional circumstances, such as serious unforeseen events.

Any such arrangement is at Salsacreed's discretion unless a statutory right applies.

Where supporting information is reasonably necessary, we may ask for appropriate evidence.

This section does not remove any mandatory consumer rights.

12. Missed classes

If you cannot attend a class you have booked:

  • the missed class is generally not refundable;

  • a missed class does not normally entitle you to a reduction in the course price;

  • any possibility of attending another class as a replacement is subject to availability and Salsacreed's approval.

If Salsacreed offers a make-up class or alternative arrangement, this is a goodwill arrangement unless otherwise stated.

13. Cancellation or changes by Salsacreed

Salsacreed reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:

  • teachers;

  • class times;

  • venues;

  • schedules;

  • class formats; or

  • event arrangements,

where reasonably necessary.

We will provide notice of significant changes where reasonably practicable.

If Salsacreed cancels a class, course or event and does not provide a reasonable alternative arrangement, customers will be entitled to the refund or other remedy required by applicable law.

Where appropriate, Salsacreed may offer:

  • an alternative date;

  • a replacement class;

  • a transfer;

  • credit; or

  • a refund.

14. Venue changes

Classes and events may occasionally need to move to another venue.

Where reasonably possible, Salsacreed will provide advance notice.

A venue change within the same general area will not automatically constitute cancellation of the service.

Where a change materially affects the service purchased, Salsacreed will consider the customer's rights under applicable law.

15. Transfers and substitutions

Where permitted by the particular booking, Salsacreed may allow a participant to transfer their place to another person.

A transfer must be agreed with Salsacreed in advance.

The replacement participant must provide any information reasonably required for registration and must agree to the applicable Terms & Conditions.

Salsacreed may refuse a transfer where there is a reasonable administrative, safety, capacity or other legitimate reason.

16. Subscriptions and recurring memberships

Where Salsacreed offers a subscription or recurring membership, the relevant offer will state:

  • the subscription price;

  • billing frequency;

  • what is included;

  • when recurring payments are taken;

  • how the subscription can be cancelled; and

  • any minimum commitment or notice period.

Recurring payments will continue until the subscription is cancelled in accordance with the applicable cancellation procedure.

Cancelling a subscription prevents future charges but does not automatically reverse payments already made for a period that has already begun, subject to applicable law and any specific cancellation rights.

17. Photography and video

Salsacreed classes, workshops and events may be photographed or recorded.

Photography and video may be used for Salsacreed's promotional purposes, including:

  • social media;

  • the Salsacreed website;

  • advertising;

  • promotional materials; and

  • showing Salsacreed classes and events to prospective customers.

Information about photography and video, including how to notify Salsacreed if you do not wish to appear in promotional material, is provided through our booking communications and Privacy Policy.

If you have notified Salsacreed that you object to appearing in promotional photographs or recordings, we will take reasonable steps to avoid using identifiable images of you for promotional purposes.

For further information about how photographs and recordings are processed, please see our Privacy Policy.

18. Personal belongings

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings while attending Salsacreed classes and events.

Salsacreed is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

19. Participant health and safety

Participants are responsible for determining whether they are physically able to participate in dance activities.

Dance involves physical movement and carries a normal risk of minor injury.

Participants should inform the teacher before participating if there is an issue that may reasonably affect their safe participation.

Salsacreed may recommend that a participant seek appropriate professional medical advice where a health or physical issue raises a reasonable safety concern.

Participants must follow reasonable instructions given by Salsacreed teachers or event staff concerning safety.

20. Participant behaviour

Salsacreed aims to provide a welcoming and respectful environment.

Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards:

  • teachers;

  • staff;

  • other participants;

  • venues; and

  • members of the public.

Salsacreed may refuse participation or ask a participant to leave where their behaviour is seriously disruptive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing or otherwise creates a safety or reasonable operational concern.

Where a participant is removed for serious misconduct, this does not automatically create a right to a refund.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or protections provided by law.

21. Minors

Where a participant is under the applicable age of majority, a parent or legal guardian may be required to complete or approve the booking.

Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied for a minor is accurate and for providing any consent required by law.

Additional rules may apply to particular classes or events involving children or young people.

22. Intellectual property

Salsacreed's original teaching materials, written materials, branding, logos, photographs, videos and other original content remain the property of Salsacreed or the relevant rights holder unless otherwise stated.

Customers may not reproduce, sell or commercially exploit Salsacreed materials without permission.

Participants are welcome to practise and enjoy material taught during classes for their own personal use.

23. Website and third-party services

Salsacreed may use third-party services for registration, payment, email, messaging, hosting and other business functions.

Examples may include Systeme.io, Stripe, Zoho and WhatsApp.

Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Information about the processing of personal data is provided in our Privacy Policy.

24. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to this, Salsacreed will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or for circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms affects statutory consumer rights.

25. Events outside our reasonable control

Salsacreed will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including serious weather events, venue closure, government restrictions, major infrastructure failures, emergencies, or other events that make performance impossible or unreasonable.

Where such circumstances occur, Salsacreed will consider reasonable alternatives, including rescheduling, replacement arrangements, credit or refunds where appropriate.

26. Complaints

If you have a problem with a Salsacreed service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible:

Email: info@salsacreed.com

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve complaints.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any statutory consumer or legal rights.

27. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are intended to comply with applicable consumer and other mandatory laws in the jurisdiction relevant to the particular service and customer.

Where permitted by law, the contract will be governed by the law applicable to the Salsacreed service concerned.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from benefiting from mandatory protections or bringing a claim before a court or other authority where they are legally entitled to do so.

28. Changes to these Terms

Salsacreed may update these Terms from time to time.

The version applicable to your booking will generally be the version made available to you at the time you purchase the relevant service.

Changes made after a booking will not retrospectively remove rights you have already acquired.

The “Last updated” date at the beginning of these Terms will be amended when changes are made.
